Michael Enrile is an equity analyst at Manulife Asset Management and Trust Corporation (MAMTC), a subsidiary of a life insurance company, i.e. Manulife Philippines. He assists in managing more than USD 500 million worth of insurance and trust assets, as well as conducts research and briefings as part of his work.

His role includes identifying and developing equity investment ideas for alpha regeneration and risk reduction and maintaining an extensive coverage of Philippine companies in the consumer, the infrastructure, the power, and the utilities sectors. Moreover, he supports new product development and continues idea generation for new product strategies.

He is also in charge of briefing distribution channels and clients regarding equity market and equity fund performances and providing equity market reviews and outlooks for Philippine equity wealth management products.

Prior to his current job, he was a research analyst at Valens Securities where he covered US companies under the Energy, the Basic Materials, and the Utilities sectors.
