Aaron Ang currently works at Shopee Philippines as a Marketing Analyst for the ShopeePay team. Shopee is a multinational technology company that focuses on e-commerce. It currently operates in 7 countries in Asia.

As a Marketing Analyst, Aaron is responsible for handling and monitoring Shopee’s social media for Digital Goods, campaign management for Gaming Pins, and engagement rates on one of the newest ShopeePay features, the Hotel Bookings.

Aaron was a Marketing Intern under the Marketing team at Valens Research. His tasks were helping the team manage the firm’s social media accounts, writing social media emails and Dynamic Marketing Communiqué (DMC) articles, and assisting in promotional efforts for Valens’ past events and webinars.

E-commerce is an exciting and fast-paced field for Aaron. As a ShopeePay team member, he is looking forward to becoming more agile in addressing customers’ needs. He believes working as a Marketing Analyst will help him improve his creativity and decision-making skills.

Outside of his work at Shopee, Aaron is a part-time writer for media and entertainment companies Japan Nakama, Chinoy TV, and Nylon Manila. During his free time, he likes playing video games, studying different cultures, listening to music, and making TikTok videos.
