Arianne Pelagio works at Nasdaq, Inc. as an Advisory-Corporate Solutions Analyst under the Capital Markets Intelligence Team. Nasdaq, Inc. is a multinational financial services corporation that operates the Nasdaq stock market in the US and eight European Stock Exchanges. 

Arianne handles the Energy & Utility sector where she produces US stock surveillance reports, sell-side summary reports, and ad hoc reports. She also writes Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand commentaries for the company. 

Arianne was a Research Intern at Valens Research. During her time at Valens, she learned how to collect market-moving news. She also assisted the team in single-line auditing. 

One of the things that Arianne looks forward to in her current job is to write more commentaries since it’s something she really enjoys doing. She also aims to increase her knowledge in the Energy & Utility sector, which plays a huge part in driving an economy. 

Arianne says her most challenging yet most rewarding role was her stint as a journalist at a local business newspaper, BusinessWorld. She had to learn everything while on the job since she had no formal journalism background. Her biggest success during that time was seeing her name on the byline of a front-page article. 

Outside of work, Arianne is a big fan of Formula 1, an international racing tournament. She also paints using watercolor, ink, oil, and acrylic during her free time.
