Jason Berg has been working as an intrapreneur and advisor to corporations seeking to leverage technology and data to develop new, differentiated offerings.

Most recently, he led Strategy and Innovation for G100 Companies, a private partnership of boutique businesses that deliver solutions, advice, and forums for CEOs of the world’s leading companies.

Jason also held business development roles at two early stage start-ups and analyst roles in venture capital and investment banking.

Prior to his current career, Jason was an Associate at Valens Research. He conducted research for hedge funds leveraging proprietary analytics tools. He managed a team of 15 off-shore analysts to generate and vet new investment ideas. He also supported business development and account management efforts of the firm.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland.

Apart from being busy with his career, Jason also has his own way of expressing the things that he’s fond of that not all people really know about him. “While I don’t have an angelic voice that many of my friends in the Philippines do, you can often find me at open mic nights behind the drums, playing anything from jazz, rock, pop, Latin, and funk music, trying to relive my younger years as an aspiring musician,” said Jason.
