Joyce Catacutan currently works at ASUS Philippines Corporation as a Marketing Assistant under the Open Platform Business Group. ASUS is a multinational company known for some of the world’s best motherboards and high-quality personal computers, monitors, graphics cards, routers, and other technology solutions. 

According to Joyce, her job is to handle and maintain the social media presence of ASUS and ROG (Republic of Gamers) Philippines officials, create content for social media posts, execute marketing campaigns, and manage marketing execution payment systems. 

Joyce was a Junior Marketing Associate at Valens Research. During her time at Valens, she also managed the social media platforms of the company and created content for social media posts and email marketing campaigns. 

One of the things that Joyce looks forward to in her current job is to be the next Country Product Manager who develops the core positioning and messaging for ASUS and is responsible for product planning and execution in order to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. 

Joyce says in less than six months of being a part of ASUS’ Open Platform Team, she didn’t expect that the company would entrust her with three major campaigns for different products. She said that she is grateful that Valens became her stepping stone because the firm helped and trained her to be prepared for such tasks. 

Outside of work, Joyce is interested in playing musical instruments. During her free time, she says one of her go-to activities is to play a new song on the ukulele. She also plays musical pieces on the piano.
