Ken Walther Sy is currently a Program Management Consultant at EY Philippines (SGV & Co.)—one of the largest professional services firms in the Philippines that provides assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services.

Ken was an intern at Valens in 2017. He is also an experienced FP&A Analyst with a focus on business partnering and financial modeling. He has a background in equity research, and is familiar with using business situation frameworks and profitability frameworks to solve key business strategy problems.

According to Ken, the opportunities and challenges as a consultant are virtually endless. Currently, they’re looking to accelerate EY’s analytics offerings to their clients.

Apart from his current employment, he’d like to do consulting for SMEs to help them build winning strategies and enable a better working business environment. Ken believes that success is sweeter after going through bitter challenges.

When he was younger, Ken used to teach martial arts. He also used to dream about driving for a top Formula 1 team.
