Moira Pavino currently works at World Vision International (WVI) as a Course Manager and Online Learning Advisor. WVI is an evangelical Christian humanitarian aid, development, and advocacy organization that has offices in over 90 countries, including in the Philippines and the US.

As a Course Manager and Online Learning Advisor, Moira’s main tasks include managing eWorkshop delivery and facilitation, helping in the design and development of various courses, conducting evaluations and reports, and coordinating with other team managers.

Being part of a global team in a global non-profit organization (NGO) made Moira see the world in a wider lens. She realized every day is an opportunity to teach and impart something new to people.

One of the challenges Moira experiences in her current job is working with people with senior roles because they can be quite intimidating at times. However, seeing her fellow employees’ shared value of respect motivates her to do better at work.

It also helps that prior to working at World Vision, Moira was able to gain exposure to working with some executives at Valens as a part-time Executive Assistant for the weekend dayshift.

Outside of work, Moira is a jolly person. Others usually think of her as the quiet-but-authoritative type but in reality, she is free-spirited and bubbly with her family and friends.
