Yasmin Reign Sidamon, a.k.a. Yas, currently works as a Contract Coordinator at QIAGEN Business Services. QIAGEN Business Services is a Philippine-based biotechnology research firm that provides services related to supply chain management, customer care, accounting, technical services, and other sales support activities to its Shared Service Center in Wrocław, Poland. 

As a Contract Coordinator, Yas is responsible for increasing the revenue potential of QIAGEN based on the non-compliance of clients to contracts through team collaboration and transparency, tracking obligations, and automated communications. 

Yas was a Marketing Associate Intern at Valens Research. She was responsible for aiding the firm in planning events, managing and scheduling social media posts of the Transcend10 communities, and employing 360-degree marketing communications. 

One of the challenges Yas experiences in her current job is reviewing contracts written in different languages and with different internal sales arrangements. However, she sees this as an opportunity too because it allows her to gain more knowledge and contribute to QIAGEN’s vision of making improvements in life possible. She looks forward to seeing progress in her career as she helps further the firm’s goals. 

Yas is an extrovert. She puts in effort in building and preserving her network at work and outside of work. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic happened, she realized there are lots of things she would like to do by herself. Before 2023 ends, she plans to go to the movies on her own, shop alone, get a tattoo, and go on solo trips.
